About Odessa Manufacturing
Odessa Manufacturing Inc., was started in 1990 by Ed and Carmelita Tapia, after emigrating from the Philippines to Canada with their two children in 1989.
Ed and Carmelita observed a market need for industrial filter bag manufacturers in western Canada. They set up a factory in Burnaby, British Columbia and named it Odessa after their daughter and first-born child.
From its first few clients, word of mouth spread about Odessa Manufacturing's excellent products, quality service, and competitive pricing. Today, Odessa Manufacturing Inc. enjoys a solid customer base and is proud to manufacture filter bags for clients in BC and as far as Alberta, and provide baghouse maintenance services to dozens of clients in the Vancouver Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
